Dear Friend of the Art League of Long Island,
On the corner of E. Deer Park Rd. and Deforest Rd. sits a gem. The Art League of Long Island has the power to inspire, stir and enrich the lives of all Long Islanders’ and beyond.
Six-year old Robert had a tough year in the first grade. He wasn’t staying in the lines; however, his small motor skills didn’t always cooperate. At the Art League’s summer program Robert fell in love with art, especially print making. He had an idea to sell his prints to raise money for The Parkinson’s Foundation because he wanted to help his Grandma and others that have the disease. He’s still making prints, reached his initial fundraising goal and set an even higher one.
Thank you for supporting the Art League’s 2015 year-end annual appeal. Your donation keeps art classes affordable, community events free, offers scholarships for financial and other hardship needs, sends four to six youngsters from Suffolk County Family Service League to the Summer Art Adventure Program and brings offsite programs to under-served areas and individuals.
Thank you for investing in the arts, the artists and the Art League of Long Island. Your contribution reaches many people and communities with meaningful experiences that have the power to transform lives. Your donation assures you and your family that the Art League will be here for generations to come. Have a Happy and Safe Holiday Season.
My Warmest Regards,
Charlee Miller, Executive Director
