Dear Friend of the Art League of Long Island,
Sixty years ago, a small visionary group of emerging artists got together in suburban Huntington, New York to share friendship, time, space and their love of the arts. The group grew and evolved, thrived and expanded, and developed into the oldest and largest premier visual arts center on Long Island.
Thank you for all the ways you support the Art League of Long Island. We continue to grow because you know the value of a quality art education, art for art’s sake and the benefit of living in or near communities that appreciate art.
Donors like you make it possible for the Art League to contribute back to many Long Island communities. With over 25,000 visitors, students, artists and members each year, the Art League pays it forward in many ways:
• Art improves academic performance
• Employers rate creativity among the top skills sought by business leaders
• The Arts are great for local merchants and the economy
• The Arts promote true prosperity
• Art appreciates diversity
Please join us in celebrating the Art League’s 60th year with your support again. The Art League is committed to its mission to enhance Long Island’s cultural life by promoting the appreciation, practice and enjoyment of the visual arts. Please make a gift now, as generously as you can, to celebrate 60 years of art in the community.
Thank you for your continued support.
