Reisa by Nanette Fluhr

A beautiful portrait not only attains a remarkable likeness but also captures the true spirit of the subject. In this workshop, you will learn the techniques that the masters have used for centuries. Working from a live model for 3 days, you will learn the principles of portrait painting in the classical tradition. This workshop will help develop your ability to achieve a likeness, understand the light on the model, mix realistic complexions and create a three dimensional illusion. Fluhr will demonstrate in class and offer personal critiques.
