Gallery Talk with Stephanie Gress: Members Exhibition 2018 Juror (Jan 3)

The 63rd Annual Art League of Long Island Members' Exhibition Juror, Stephanie Gress, discusses her awards selections on January 3, 2019 at 7pm.. The event is free and open to the public.

Part One of the exhibit feature 92 works of art and is on view in the Art League’s Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery through November 25. More than 90 works will be on display in Part Two running December 8 through January 6.

About the juror: Stephanie Gress is the Director of Curatorial Affairs for the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium in Centerport, New York. Her time at the museum has been marked by a successful record of procuring large grants to restore Mr. Vanderbilt’s original exhibits. A graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Master’s Degree in art history, Stephanie believes that visual arts convey the spirit of the time in which they were produced. Researching and writing about art and architecture enrich history for her. She enjoys engaging with the art community through local galleries, museums, and historic sites.
