Teaching philosophy:
“As an art teacher I want to empower my students to learn through the art making process. I want to let my students know that creating art is a journey and that I will help them through every step of the way. I want my students to be comfortable in my classroom I understand that is a safe environment for them to engage in self exploration and to feel heard. I would like my students to feel confident with whatever project they are endeavoring by giving them the foundation of classical training as well as encouraging their own artistic style. With a strong emphasis on art history as part of the learning process, students will be given the opportunity to become well- versed in world culture and learn how art has been and currently is a way of interpreting and communicating to world. “
