Long Island Architectural Patterns

The evolution of Long Island’s architectural patterns/style from European settlement to current convention will be presented by Eric Anderson, an architect and faculty member in the Architectural Technology program at Farmingdale State College. Trace the influence of British and Dutch traditions; the influence of pattern books on 18th and 19th century architecture, the mansions of the Gilded Age, and the evolution of the Modern style from Fort Salonga to the beaches and East End.
