Join us in a series of FREE lectures hosted by Debra Wells, Art League Chairperson and Co-Founder of Artful Circle

Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, Central Park has countless sculptures and monuments placed among its scenic landscape.Discover the popular sites, as well as the hidden gems throughout the park. Learn the stories behind the statuary erected in honor of literary and historic icons such as Hans Christian Anderson, Romeo & Juliet, Columbus, Beethoven, Mother Goose, Duke Ellington, as well as wonder of the Delacorte musical clock at the Central Park Zoo and the Angel of the Waters statue in the Bethesda Terrace Fountain.
