Joyce Kubat lives and works in Huntington, NY. After graduating from Michigan State University with a BS in psychology, she moved to New York City and studied art at the Art Students League of New York and Brooklyn College. She has exhibited in and won many awards from juried and invitational exhibits throughout Long Island and in New York City. She has had solo exhibits on Long Island and has exhibited at many venues including the Parrish Museum, Guild Hall, Heckscher Museum, Long Island Museum, and the New York State Biennial in Albany, NY. She was an instructor at the Nassau
County Museum of Art, Roslyn Harbor, NY, from 2009-2012, and currently teaches at the Art League of Long Island, Dix Hills, NY, from 2004-present.
