Fine Artist, Illustrator, Cartoonist and Graphic Designer David O. Miller was born in Ashland, Kentucky. In 1981 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
After graduation, David worked as a graphic designer for various companies in Louisville, Kentucky, including a CBS television station and a major advertising agency. Later, he also worked as the Art Director for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center - U.S. Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.
David left the Space and Rocket Center in 1991 and relocated to Long Island where he currently runs his own graphic design/illustration business.
Over the years David has completed freelance illustration and design assignments for a variety of companies such as TSR (the makers of Dungeons and Dragons), Wizards of the Coast, Baen Books, DoubleDay Book Clubs, John Wiley, Bonnier Corp., CMP Media, Playmore Publishing, Topps, Inkworks, Palm Bay International, 42 Inc., and many more.
David currently teaches computer courses at the Art League. His adult classes include Digital Painting, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
An admitted "geek" David has a love of old science fiction and horror books and films, as well as games based on those genres.
